What is the Best Vehicle to Purchase?

According to Bud Lauria and Staff a Hyundai would fit best in any driveway. Fare Share knows that regardless of your vehicle preference you may wish to call on Bud and his team as they have launched a new program to support the food bank.

“Laura Hyundai have been great contributors of the food banks, as have many other businesses, but Bud’s team have made a new pledge”, says Peter Gabany, Communications Director of Fare Share, “for every vehicle purchased from Lauria, they will make a contribution to Fare Share”.

The details are: if you purchase a new or used vehicle Lauria hyundai will donate monies to the food bank. It’s that simple. Bud says, “We're committed to helping those that find it hard to cope and that's why we've introduced this program. When I asked my staff who they wanted to support Fare Share is a natural”.

Executive Director for Fare Share, Duncan Mackinnon added, “We have added fresh milk, fresh fruit and vegetables and meat to the packages we distribute at the food bank and this would not be at all possible without donors like Lauria. We appreciate all that we receive, but donations like those that larger businesses and corporations can make allow us to make these major gains”.

New programs have increased the bi-weekly allotments distributed from the banks from 8.8lbs to nearly 20lbs plus a bag of fresh milk and fresh fruit or vegetables when available. An active nutrition committee are seeing that what the bank gives out compliments people’s good health. The ability to hand out the odd chicken or some beef is a bonus, and while it doesn’t happen often it certainly goes a long way to brighten people’s day.
