The chemicals used in scented products can make some people sick, especially those who suffer from asthma, allergies, migraines, fragrance sensitivities or respiratory ailments, but also patients undergoing medical/surgical treatment, taking certain medications and those with weakened immune systems.
NHH is committed to maintaining a healthy and safe environment for everyone who visits or works here. As such, all employees, professional staff, volunteers, contractors, students, visitors and patients are expected to not wear perfume, cologne, lotion, aftershave and other fragrances when visiting the hospital or our community-based mental health clinic. The use of unscented personal care products is greatly appreciated. Thank you for being sensitive to others.
