Join eagle.ca and Kawartha Durham Kart Club at Kawartha Speedway Sunday
for the 1st Charity Karting Challenge

Cobourg: 10am this Sunday, August 12 come out to the Kawartha Speedway Charity Karting Challenge. This is the first in a series of events organized by the Kawartha Durham Kart Club and sponsored by eagle.ca - Northumberland's premiere Internet service provider - with all proceeds directed to Fare Share Food Banks.

Spectators are encouraged to come and see what karting is all about. Little kids, youth and adults will be weaving in and around the course to demonstrate how it is done. If you haven't had the opportunity to see karting it is sure to thrill. Great fun for the entire family.

If by chance you are a racer, join in on the competition. The Kart Club promises fun events, prizes and raffles throughout the day for drivers and spectators as well as a charity BBQ. Anyone coming to the track is encouraged to bring a bag of food for the food bank or feel free to make a donation. Event organizer Marty says, “I have a van and would love to see it filled” The event starts at 10am and will close at 4pm.
We hope to see you there.
