Everything is Awesome – FUN Club goes all LEGO to Help Food Bank

Fellow Master Builders are welcome to visit and participate in Heidi’s FUN Club LEGO-themed weekend at Northumberland Mall.

Starting Friday, February 7 at 4pm Heidi’s FUN Club moves to Northumberland Mall to feature their LEGO play and craft centre. The FUN Club will be on hand at the Mall to welcome parents and their children to promote play and their club. Heidi Sanseng, originator of the Club, is collecting a small donation of $5.00, allowing children access to their LEGO play centre (Centre Court) with proceeds being donated to Fare Share Food Banks.

What better time for a LEGO themed play centre with the long anticipated premiere of THE LEGO Movie at Northumberland Mall Theatre. (Check Theatre for times and admission). Heidi’s FUN Club will be on hand through the weekend until Sunday at 5pm.

36% of the 2500 people per month who use Fare Share Food Banks are children and youth to age 18. “The idea of a Club that promotes healthy play is most encouraging and fits well with the Food Banks’ mandate of increasing the nutritional value of the food we distribute”, says Executive Director, Duncan Mackinnon.
