Every day is Mother's Day at Northumberland Hills Hospital!
NHH's Maternal Child Care unit is equipped with six labour and delivery beds, each in their own private and home-like suite, a Caesarean-section operating room, advanced fetal and patient monitoring, and a comfortable family lounge. A baby safety system provides 24-hour security, following your baby's birth.

Newborn, Perinatal and Reproductive Care Clinic (NPR)
Northumberland Hills Hospital (NHH) is pleased to announce the opening of the Newborn, Perinatal and Reproductive Care Clinic (NPR). The clinic provides in-hospital, non-urgent, ambulatory services to support women’s wellness and newborn health in the antenatal and postpartum phases of care for patients across Northumberland County.
The NPR clinic is located on the 2nd floor, adjacent to the Maternal/Child Inpatient Unit.
Hours of Operation
Weekdays - Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Please note: The clinic will not be accepting walk-ins, and appointments must be booked in advance.
Who We Serve
- Obstetrical patients attached to a delivering care provider at NHH.
- Newborns in the first week of life, as determined at discharge from NHH.
- Newborns that are unattached, up to 6-8 weeks.
- Postpartum follow-up for wound assessment and hypertension.
- Expectant patients requiring RhoGAM, Non-Stress Test (NST), bloodwork, or blood pressure monitoring.
- Early pregnancy complications follow-up.
- Education and navigation to community and specialty resources.
Referrals
All patients require a booked appointment with an NHH provider.
