Rachel Rapaport Beck

Rachel is a new member of the Northumberland community and joined PFAC to “put her knowledge and skills to use from her time in the health care arena and to contribute to such an important part of health planning through the patient and caregiver experience”.

She began her career in women’s health, research, and advocacy, after receiving her Master's degree in Health Studies and Leadership. Since 2009, she has been working in health regulation, first with the College of Midwives of Ontario as the regulatory lead on two Ministry of Health-funded birth centres, and then as a Compliance Case Manager at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario - Investigations and Resolutions.

She now runs an architecture practice with her husband with a focus on planning and design in education, health and wellness, and social housing projects.
