Northumberland Hills Hospital flags at half-mast in memory of Jacqueline (Jackie) Hart
It is with great sadness that Northumberland Hills Hospital (NHH) is flying its flags at half-mast in honour of a respected colleague and friend, Jacqueline (Jackie) Hart, who has passed away.
Jackie assumed the position of Admitting Clerk in 2005, then transferred to the Medical Surgical Department as a Ward Clerk, and in 2018 became a Booking Clerk in Surgical Services Department. She was recognized this spring with a long service award for her more than 20 years at NHH. A valued member of the hospital team, she is being remembered for her kindness, unwavering support of her colleagues, and for her dedication in serving her community.
As shared at the spring long-service ceremony, Jackie had most recently played an essential role in keeping NHH Surgical Services running smoothly. Her knowledge and commitment have supported countless patients, physicians, and staff members over the past two decades. Jackie's steady dedication and spirit have made a lasting impact on the hospital, and she will be greatly missed by all her co-workers and friends at NHH.
Outside of her professional role at NHH, Jackie was also a gifted crafter and the driving force behind the annual NHH Crafters’ sale bringing together fellow NHH employees and makers for this fun holiday season fundraiser in support of area causes and hospital equipment needs.
Deepest sympathy is extended to her family, especially her two daughters, and to her NHH family and friends.
