NHH’s Canada Flag at half-mast on June 3rd in honour of deceased NHH Auxiliary volunteers
The Canada flag outside the main entrance at Northumberland Hills Hospital is lowered today in honour of the dedicated NHH Auxiliary volunteers who passed away in the last year.
In conjunction with a reading of these names at the NHH Auxiliary’s Annual General Meeting, held last week, this new annual tradition will recognize the exceptional commitment of Auxiliary volunteers throughout the hospital. Auxiliary members gave more than 42,000 hours of their time in 2018/19, providing the necessary support that helps keep this hospital going. This generosity of spirit lives on in the hundreds of active volunteers who continue to support NHH each and every day. Thank you, NHH Auxiliary, for all you do for NHH and the patients and families we serve.
