Call for Interest - NHH Looking for Individuals to Join Board Committee as Community Members
The Northumberland Hills Hospital (NHH) Board of Directors is currently recruiting individuals interested in working with the Board as Community Members. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals to support the NHH Shared Purpose and to contribute to the success of the organization.
Committee Members meet for two-four hours, approximately 10-12 times a year. Currently these meetings are being held virtually, via Zoom, with in-person meetings planned to resume as soon as it is safe to do so.
Northumberland Hills Hospital is committed to inclusivity, equity and access. To ensure the NHH Board reflects the diverse populations it serves, applications are encouraged from people of any age, race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity and/or national origin.
The role of the Board is to provide strategic direction and oversight to the Hospital management team. All candidates will be expected to demonstrate strategic thinking skills, strong consensus building skills, the ability to work in a collaborative team environment and experience or awareness of diversity, equity and inclusion. In addition, the Board of Directors has adopted a skills-based approach and as such is interested in candidates with strengths in human resources, legal, information technology, governance, healthcare, community partnerships, and finance.
The Northumberland Hills Hospital By-laws require representatives from the municipalities we serve. More information can be found on the hospital website at nhh.ca.
If you are interested in applying to become a Community Member, please email your resumé by the deadline below.
Candidates who are short-listed will be invited to a virtual interview with members of the NHH Executive and the Board Nominating Committee.
