Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation Launches Business Partners Program
Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation Launches
Business Partners Program
Northumberland - Modeled after the success of the Caring for Generations Society, the Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce a new program created exclusively for the Northumberland business community. The Business Partners Program (BPP) unites community-minded business leaders who recognize the value of excellent health care services close to home for their customers and employees.
Membership in the BPP is open to any business that makes a cumulative annual gift to the hospital of $1,000 or greater.
Funds raised through the BPP will purchase essential medical equipment for Northumberland Hills Hospital. Strong corporate collaboration is vital to the mission of a community hospital in helping our efforts to provide a broad range of high quality hospital services.
The program celebrated its first member in November when Tim White of Insight Optical in Cobourg joined. “Having a well-equipped, well-run hospital is critical to the Northumberland area and it’s important for my business success as well”, says Mr. White, “I see the value of supporting my local hospital, because it provides care to my customers, my family and my community”.
“We too saw the value of ensuring our business leaders were well informed and engaged with current hospital events. The BPP will create opportunities for active dialogue between the hospital and business, says Louise Stevenson, chair of the Caring for Generations Society and the Business Partners Program, “One example of this will be a breakfast with the CEO event in the spring”.
Other special recognition and benefits that BPP members will receive include:
• exclusive decals for display at their place of business or service vehicles,
• recognition in the NHH Foundation’s newsletter,
• company name or logo on the Foundation’s website with a link back to the business members website,
• permission to advertise their support of the hospital using the BPP logo, and
• inclusion on the hospital’s donor wall at the corresponding level.
