PayRemuneration would be based on fee-for-service and on call stipend through the Hospital On Call Coverage Program (HOCC). Relocation assistance may be available. Vacation relief is supported through group colleague coverage.

Qualifications Required

- Fully independent registration (or eligible for) with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
- Certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada – FRCP(C) in Internal Medicine
- Experience working in a team setting; must possess strong interpersonal and collaborative skills

Northumberland Hills Hospital (NHH) and area Internal Medicine Specialists are seeking an Internal Medicine Specialist with appropriate sub-specialty interests to locate their practice in Cobourg, Ontario. The suitable candidate will join a vibrant group of Internists with complimentary sub specialty interest. The desired sub specialty interests could include Pulmonary Medicine, Geriatrics, Rheumatology.

Practice opportunities include in-patient and out-patient consultations. The successful candidate will share the role of primary physician (MRP) for Northumberland Hills Hospital's 10-bed Intensive Care Unit for adult medical patients, participate in 24/7 on-call group scheduling supporting the hospital at-large, and will have access to various ambulatory clinics, supports and services.
