NHH publishes second annual Quality Improvement Plan

The Excellent Care for All Act (ECFAA) became law in Ontario in 2010. One of the ways that ECFAA is helping hospitals meet their community's expectations regarding quality, patient safety and accountability is through the public reporting of annual Quality Imrpovement Plans, or QIPs.

NHH publisheded its second annual QIP on April 1st, 2012, together with a progress report against the initial, 2011-12 plan. Click here for more context on NHH's quality and safety process, and a pdf of both documents.

Grounded in a philosophy of continuous improvement, NHH's quality goals are monitored closely throughout the year by our program committees, management team, medical staff and our Board. with a collective focus on specific, shared goals, NHH is building on teh past year's progress to continually enhance quality patient care.
